Download Meldara
Download the ZIP on your Mac, then double-click it in Downloads to extract the app.

Move Meldara to Applications
Drag the extracted Meldara app to Applications. Keep only one copy open while testing.

Open Meldara
Launch Meldara from Applications and review the permissions for the features you want to try. If macOS blocks this preview, read the guidance below.
If macOS blocks the preview
This preview has not been notarized by Apple, so macOS may show “Meldara Not Opened.” If you downloaded it from meldara-mac.app and choose to trust this preview:
- In the first warning, click Done to dismiss it.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and scroll down to the Security section.
- Find the message that Meldara was blocked and click Open Anyway.
- In the confirmation dialog, click Open Anyway (or Open, depending on your macOS version). Authenticate if prompted.
If Open Anyway is missing, try opening Meldara once more, then return to Privacy & Security. The app name may include a number, such as “Meldara 3,” if you extracted multiple copies. Choose the copy you just downloaded.

Meldara’s Dock replaces the macOS Dock while enabled; it does not restyle Apple’s Dock. The menu-bar organizer hides and reveals icons placed to the left of its divider after manual setup. Menu-bar glow and automation rules are disabled. Notification indicators cover Meldara timers, not other apps’ notifications. The illustrations are concepts, not screenshots or recordings of the current build. Hardware and macOS 27 testing is still in progress.
